Former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier is battling a staph infection that is not responding to antibiotics. On Monday, Poirier tweeted, “Shits getting serious” from his hospital room. He remains in the hospital and shared a photo of his badly infected foot on Tuesday. He hopes to be released tomorrow.
