LAS VEGAS – UFC flyweight Brandon Moreno has inspired many Mexican fighters, including the promotion’s newest bantamweight, Fernie Garcia . Garcia (10-1) earned a UFC contract at Dana White’s Contender Series 42 on Tuesday when he scored a first-round TKO of Josh Weems. Coming out of the bout relatively unscathed, the Fortis MMA fighter is ready for a quick turnaround and would love nothing more than to compete on the same card as Moreno, who defends his title against Deiveson Figueiredo in a trilogy bout Dec. 11 at UFC 269.
