Michael Morales ’s first win in the UFC was well received back home. The UFC newcomer impressed many in his promotional debut. Morales (13-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) quickly dispatched veteran Trevin Giles with a first-round TKO in the opening bout of the UFC 270 main card in Anaheim, Calif., earlier this month. It was a monumental moment for Morales, whoh kept his undefeated record and debuted in the biggest MMA promotion with a first-round finish.
