March’s UFC 197 lineup is shaping up to be a good one. Following Tuesday’s announcement of a championship doubleheader , officials today announced welterweights Erick Silva (18-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC) and Nordine Taleb (11-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) also will fight at the event. UFC 197 takes place March 5 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Although he’s experienced mixed results since joining the UFC, Silva usually delivers entertaining performances. The 31-year-old Brazilian, who’s won six fight-night bonuses in 11 career UFC bouts, most recently suffered a split-decision loss to Neil Magny (though every major media outlet scored it decisively for Magny) at UFC Fight Night 74 this past August.
