Former Bellator lightweight title challenger Marcin Held today said his contract with the promotion has expired and he will test free agency – with the hope of signing with the UFC. A Bellator spokesperson today told MMAjunkie that Held was released by the promotion Tuesday night. Held, however, said on his Facebook page he ended his contract.
