When Bella floated the idea of becoming a professional fighter, he could simply point to the absence of women in the octagon. That argument went out the window in 2013 when champ Rousey debuted in the UFC. Then he was forced to make another point that might appeal to her practical side. “(I could say) there’s not much of a living you could make at this lifestyle,” said Mir (18-9 MMA, 16-9 UFC), who takes on fellow ex-champ Andrei Arlovski (24-10 MMA, 13-4 UFC) at UFC 191 on Sept. 5 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
