ORONO, Maine – Plenty of parallels can be drawn between football and MMA. UFC fighters Ovince Saint Preux and Shawn Jordan know about those parallels, and on Thursday paid a visit to the University of Maine’s football team. Saint Preux and Jordan both played college football prior to a transition to professional fighting. Saint Preux played for the University of Tennessee, while Jordan was a two-time national champion at Louisiana State University.
