Nearly two years after surprising the MMA world with a sudden retirement after a win at WSOF 24, former title challenger Nick Newell is back. Newell (13-1) has signed a multi-fight deal with LFA, the promotion today announced, though a date for his return and an opponent have not yet been determined. Newell was born with a congenital amputation of his left arm, and as a result his left arm ends below his elbow. But despite that, he had massive success as a high school and college wrestler, then parlayed that career into one in MMA
