Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos After an extended layoff due to knee surgery, Carlos Condit  returned in a big way this past Saturday. The former UFC interim welterweight champion re-established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the 170-pound division with a TKO win over Thiago Alves in the UFC Fight Night 67 main event in Brazil. And that begged the question: Where does Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) fit in the weight class, especially given just how brutally he took it to Alves (21-10 MMA, 14-7 UFC) in the second round of their fight? In the latest installment of “Fan Perspective,” veteran MMA analyst “Showdown Joe” Ferraro headed to the world of social media to ask fans if they think Condit earned the next crack at the welterweight title, which champion Robbie Lawler defends next month at UFC 189 against Rory MacDonald … or if he needs to wait in line. Check out the video above to get Ferraro’s insight on the UFC Fight Night 67 main event and hear what fans are telling him about Condit.
