LAS VEGAS – Khamzat Chimaev came in heavy. The UFC contender missed weight on his first attempt to make the welterweight limit for his bout against Nate Diaz in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 279 in Las Vegas. Chimaev missed weight by a big amount, as he came in at 178.5 pounds – 7.5 pounds over the welterweight limit. Meanwhile, Diaz made weight, registering 171 on the scale.
