While Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) discussed the situation on Thursday, saying that it was the result of “ a few miscommunications ,” many feel that Diaz’s tendency to fail in his promotional duties is inexcusable. MMAjunkie caught up with several fighters, including Kelvin Gastelum, Paige VanZant, Ian McCall and Miesha Tate, who all gave their thoughts on Diaz as well as the idea of press requirements in general. You can watch the video above. Diaz faces Anderson Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC) in the UFC 183 pay-per-view main event this Saturday night.
