Filed under: News , UFC BRASILIA, Brazil – Since moving up from the bantamweight division, former UFC champ Renan Barao might be walking around heavier – but, as far as his spirits go, he certainly feels lighter. The change in Barao’s demeanor didn’t go unnoticed by those who were used to interviewing him during his 135-pound stint. Now, heading into his second fight as a featherweight, Barao is happy with the changes in all areas of his preparation – including the once-dreaded press obligations. “I think it wasn’t even a matter of not wanting to talk – I was just feeling very bad,” Barao said. “My mouth was dry, my feet were swollen. I tried to be kind, but we’re human beings, and we make mistakes.
