Filed under: News , UFC , Videos LAS VEGAS –  Floyd Mayweather admits Conor McGregor ’s boxing ability surpassed his expectations in “The Money Fight” on Saturday. Mayweather (50-0 boxing) said he came into the fight with a cautious respect, but knew his game plan of dragging the fight into the later rounds and applying pressure would wear McGregor (21-3 MMA, 0-1 boxing) down and eventually set up the 10th-round TKO stoppage . Still, though, Mayweather admits McGregor superseded his pre-fight thoughts, and for that he gives the Irishman respect. “He’s a hell of a fighter standing up — he kind of shocked me,” Mayweather told reporters post-fight. “Our game plan was to take our time, let him shoot all these heavy shots, keep walking him down, keep walking him down, shoot heavy shots to the body, shoot big shots upstairs. My dad thought it was going to go a little bit earlier around the seventh or the sixth, but it took us a little longer than expected, but we did what we said we were going to do
