Filed under: News , UFC Two-time UFC veteran Matheus Nicolau has been pulled from this month’s UFC Fight Night 100 event due to a potential anti-doping violation. UFC officials today announced that U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) representatives notified Nicolau (12-1-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) of a potential violation following the collection of an out-of-competition sample on Oct. 13. First violations under the UFC anti-doping policy typically carry a standard sanction of two years, though Nicolau can contest the finding.
