Former Bellator featherweight champion Daniel Straus is once again in trouble with the law. Straus (26-9 MMA, 12-6 BMMA) was arrested Friday in Florida and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon according to arrest records from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest was first reported by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.  Bond is set at $100,000. According to the Sun-Sentinel, in addition to the bond, Straus is not allowed to have contact with the victim nor can he possess weapons or ammunition. No further details have been made immediately available, though MMA Junkie has reached out to the Seminole Police Department for further information.
