The UFC’s heavyweight division is arguably in it’s most talent-filled state of all time. With the likes of Tai Tuivasa and Tom Aspinall rising as new contenders, the future of the heavyweight division is bright. Aspinall (12-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) called Tuivasa (15-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) out following his first-round submission of Alexander Volkov this past Saturday at UFC Fight Night 204, but is that the right fight to make? Former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier , who’s a current analyst and commentator, decided to play matchmaker and give his thoughts on how the division should proceed with current champion Francis Ngannou recovering from knee surgery and expected to be sidelined for the rest of the year.
