Former top 10 middleweight Francis Carmont is no longer a UFC fighter. The fighter today announced his release via Facebook . Carmont (22-10 MMA, 6-3 UFC), 32, said he plans to continue his combat career. The Tristar Gym fighter opened his UFC run with six consecutive victories and pushed his overall winning streak to 11 fights. The victories came over the likes of Costas Philippou, Lorenz Larkin and Chris Camozzi, and they earned him a top 10 spot in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA Power Rankings and the UFC’s official rankings.
