Heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall ‘s first title defense since being elevated from interim titleholder to undisputed champion didn’t live up to expectations. Aspinall faced former interim titleholder Ciryl Gane in the UFC 321 main event last weekend in Abu Dhabi. Late in the opening round, Gane unintentionally eye poked Aspinall rendering him unable to continue.
