Sir Gregor Clegane, also known as “The Mountain,” is handing in his sword and armor for boxing gloves Hafbor Thor Bjornsson, one of the stars of “Game of Thrones” and one of the strongest men in the world, will compete in an exhibition boxing match Jan. 16 in Reykjavik, Iceland, he recently announced on his Instagram page. The event is expected to be promoted by MTK Global, a European boxing and MMA promotion that also serves as representation for UFC middleweight Darren Till and heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury. Unlike other celebrity boxing matches, Bjornsson won’t be fighting another actor – or another strongman.
