The UFC’s Independence Day weekend pay-per-view has its latest fight, as recently signed newcomer Rob Font now has his opponent. Font (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will meet veteran George Roop (15-10-1 MMA, 5-6 UFC) in a bantamweight bout at UFC 175. Font’s management team announced the fight on Thursday. The UFC has not yet made an official announcement of the fight, which will be the ninth bout on the card, which is just three weeks away. UFC 175 takes place July 5 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and, likely, UFC Fight Pass
