Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos MELBOURNE, Australia – Gian Villante may have knocked out Anthony Perosh with little trouble on Saturday at UFC 193, but the light heavyweight isn’t thrilled with his performance. Villante (14-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) tagged Perosh (15-10 MMA, 5-7 UFC) repeatedly in the bout, which aired during the FOX Sports 1 preliminary-card broadcast from Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. But the 30-year-old exercised restraint in the bout, waiting for the perfect moment to land a fight-ending right hand . That patience, though frustrating for Villante, was learned through a hard lesson in his most recent bout, a knockout loss to Tom Lawlor at UFC on FOX 16 in July. “(My trainers) were happy with it,” Villante told MMAjunkie following his victory.
