When John Liniker heard Ali Bagautinov refer to him as a “gift” opponent, he had to laugh a little. But since Lineker considers himself a giver, he said he’s prepping something special for when he gets to deliver that gift face-to-face. “I’m a gift opponent?” Lineker asked through an interpreter.
