Gilbert Burns means business at 170 pounds. After a successful welterweight debut, snapping the undefeated streak of Alexey Kunchenko , Burns will take on another tough test. He will once again step in on short notice, when he takes on Gunnar Nelson this Saturday at UFC on ESPN+ 18 in Copenhagen, and the three-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion believes he has all the tools to take out Nelson. “Gunnar Nelson is a very high-level fighter,” Burns told MMA Junkie in his native Portuguese. “He has excellent jiu-jitsu and a good karate base.
