Light heavyweight contenders Glover Teixeira and Phil Davis will face off in the UFC 179 co-main event on Oct. 25 in Brazil. UFC officials announced the match-up on Thursday. Teixeira (22-3) has won 20 of his last 21 fights. He’s hoping to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to champion Jon Jones at UFC 172 in his last outing. Prior to the April 26 loss to Jones, Teixeira hadn’t been defeated since 2005.
