UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Hannah Guy had no doubt she’d beat Valerie Loureda despite being a big underdog. Guy (3-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) upset Loureda (3-1 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) at Bellator 259, defeating the popular previously unbeaten flyweight by unanimous decision . Though she had to battle through some early adversity when she was knocked down in Round 1, Guy used her grappling to mostly control the rest of the fight. “I knew win or lose it was an amazing opportunity, but I thought I did have an advantage honestly,” Guy said at the Bellator 259 post-fight news conference. “I try to be humble, but I’m trying to be honest too.
