A head injury suffered during a recent training session has sidelined Bellator MMA bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas , and the organization has put together an interim title fight in its place. Instead of facing Dantas (16-3 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) at Bellator 118, Joe Warren  (10-3 MMA, 8-2 BMMA) will fight fellow tournament winner Rafael Silva  (21-3 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) for the vacant belt. Bellator 118 takes place May 2 at Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The night’s main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com. Today’s announcement: “We take head injuries very seriously, and when we were notified that Eduardo was dealing with a head injury, we immediately flew him from Brazil to California to be examined by some of the leading specialists in the field
