Filed under: Bellator , News , Videos It probably says something about the 2016 U.S presidential election that Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz ’s recent “debate” didn’t seem that odd, comparatively speaking. During Friday’s Bellator 162 event (watch the highlights below), the former UFC fighters did a joint interview with commentator Jimmy Smith. Sonnen (28-14-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Ortiz (18-12-1 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) meet on Jan. 21 in Bellator 170’s headliner , which airs on Spike from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Ahead of the fight, the rivals did a split-screen interview, which went about as swimmingly as you’d imagine. There was name-calling.
