Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm will fight before facing former titleholder Ronda Rousey in a rematch. UFC president Dana White broke the news on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight . “Holly Holm will fight before she fights Ronda,” said White. Following Holm’s second-round knockout of Rousey at UFC 193 in November, White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta indicated in interviews that Holm’s next fight would be a rematch with Rousey at UFC 200 in July. RELATED > Ronda Rousey to Host Saturday Night Live White even said, “Me and Lorenzo (Fertitta) should probably lose our promoter’s license if we didn’t make that rematch.” But Holm expressed the desire to compete before the July event.
