UFC flyweight contender Ian McCall  underwent hand surgery for the third time in 12 months on Tuesday. However, he hopes to put his injury woes aside and looks ahead to a potential title eliminator against John Lineker . McCall’s surgery, performed in Orange County, Calif., successfully repaired a hand injury that has lingered for years. His right hand was broken in the lead-up to his July victory over Brad Pickett at UFC Fight Night 45. Hand issues have plagued McCall since his UFC 163 win over Illarde Santos in August 2013. He had surgery in the days following that contest, but the issue wasn’t completely resolved.
