Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson If all goes well at UFC Fight Night 77 on Saturday night in Sao Paulo, Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson will fight for the third time in nine years – and maybe, if we’re lucky, this time neither of them will be on performance-enhancing drugs. That’s a weird thing to hope for, I realize, but then, this is a weird trilogy. The precise nature of its weirdness makes it a sort of snapshot of MMA through the years. That also makes it worth paying attention to, though I’ll admit I’m not sure yet exactly what we should hope to see here. Consider how this series started.
