With yesterday’s news that UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo had suffered a rib injury , leaving his highly anticipated UFC 189 main event with Conor McGregor in jeopardy, the MMA world came to a standstill. While Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) has yet to officially withdraw from the bout — the Aldo camp is waiting on confirmation of the injury and they say the champion still would like to compete — it’s no surprise that McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has utilized social media to make it know that he’s still ready to go.
