The UFC welterweight prospect pitched a potential matchup against veteran and fellow striking standout Vicente Luque following his most recent win in the octagon. Maddalena (14-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) rocked and then submitted opponent Randy Brown with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their fight at Saturday’s UFC 284 at RAC Arena. It was an impressive win that kept Della Maddalena unbeaten in the UFC with all four wins by first-round finish.
