LAS VEGAS – Jack Della Maddalena welcomes the high praise from UFC president Dana White. Della Maddalena (10-2) secured a UFC contract after prevailing against Ange Loosa in a highly entertaining scrap Tuesday on Dana White’s Contender Series 39, and he received quite the compliment from the UFC president. White praised Della Maddalena for his well rounded skills and toughness, calling him a “special” talent, which the the 25-year-old Aussie is ready to live up to. “I was happy with the performance,” Della Maddalena told MMA Junkie and other reporters in attendance at the UFC Apex following Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 39 event.
