Anyone who follows mixed martial arts knows that MMA math doesn’t always add up, but Jarred Brooks seems to think it’s on the money ahead of his fight with Hiroba Minowa . Brooks (17-2) and Minowa (13-2) meet Friday at “ONE Championship: Only the Brave” in a key strawweight bout from Singapore Indoor Stadium. Both men will come into the fight on winning streaks, with Brooks, 28, having won four consecutive and 22-year-old Minowa seven. Among those streaks is a victory each against Lito Adiwang, but there’s a difference in those results: Minowa won by narrow split decision in November 2020, while Brooks submitted Adiwang with a second-round arm-triangle one year later in November 2021
