Even though Jessica Eye had a disappointing weekend, she seems to be at peace with it. Eye, who missed weight for her second consecutive fight, lost a unanimous decision to Cynthia Calvillo this past Saturday in the UFC on ESPN 10 headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. For 25 minutes, Calvillo put on a standout performance in her women’s flyweight debut to soundly defeat the division’s No. 1 contender. In a statement issued late Sunday night on Instagram , Eye expressed no regrets over the result. “I am never ashamed of myself no matter what the outcome is in a fight in the octagon,” Eye said.
