Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos SAO PAULO – After his upset of Pedro Munhoz on Saturday in enemy territory, Jimmie Rivera still isn’t ready to start calling out opponents. Sort of. Rivera (18-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took a split decision from Munhoz (11-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) on the UFC Fight Pass portion of the UFC Fight Night 77 prelims in Sao Paulo. It was Munhoz’s first fight in more than a year after a suspension, and Rivera said that added to the overall experience of winning in a place like Brazil that isn’t very friendly to outsiders when it comes to winning and losing. “I was very surprised, but as the fight went on, I realized how tough he was,” Rivera told MMAjunkie after the fight. “It was an unbelievable experience to fight him, and I just had to keep grinding it out.
