Joe Lauzon UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon ’s goal is to finish off 30 cheese pizzas when he and five buddies gorge for charity on Friday. “We think we can eat five pizzas each,” the fan favorite told MMAjunkie Radio. “We’re going to eat ourselves until we hate ourselves.” For each slice Lauzon and crew finish, $5 is donated to the Jimmy Fund , which raises funds for cancer care and research to improve survival rates for cancer patients around the world. Lauzon joined the fight against cancer in 2013 after his son, Joey Lauzon III, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma shortly after birth. The youngster made a full recovery after being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital. This week, Lauzon made his second appearance at the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Cancer Walk and raised almost $3,000.
