Joe Rogan wonders if Islam Makhachev can handle Alexander Volkanovski ’s speed. Lightweight champion Makhachev (23-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) will make his first title defense against Volkanovski (25-1 MMA, 12-0 UFC) in the UFC 284 headliner Feb. 11 at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The event airs on pay-per-view following prelims expected on ESPN and ESPN+. Volkanovski is moving up a weight class to face dominant grappler Makhachev, but Rogan thinks his speed could play a factor.
