Alexander Gustafsson and Jon Jones UFC 182 was one of the biggest events in recent MMA history, and it proved quite the way to kick off the 2015 schedule. Jon Jones  (21-1 MMA, 15-1 UFC) successfully defended his UFC light heavyweight title  for the eighth time with a unanimous decision win over Daniel Cormier (15-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in the pay-per-view headliner at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The co-headlining act saw Donald Cerrone  (26-6 MMA, 13-3 UFC) outclass Myles Jury (15-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) to further establish his place as one of the top contenders at 155 pounds. The remainder of the main card featured one-sided performances from Brad Tavares  (13-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC), Kyoji Horiguchi  (15-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and Hector Lombard  (35-4-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC).
