The historic fight card featured a wide variety of results, but none were more prestigious than Amanda Nunes ’ (13-4 MMA, 6-1 UFC) dominant first-round submission of Miesha Tate (18-6 MMA, 5-3 UFC) in the main event to capture the UFC women’s bantamweight title. Brock Lesnar (6-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) also returned, looking better than ever in his first fight in nearly five years. Original event headliner Daniel Cormier (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) got the job done in a short-notice affair, while former champs Jose Aldo (26-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) and Cain Velasquez (14-2 MMA, 12-2 UFC) both got back on track with terrific performances of their own in high-profile affairs. After every event, fans wonder whom the winners will be matched up with next. And with another night of UFC action in the rearview mirror, it’s time to look forward, put on a pair of Joe Silva and Sean Shelby’s shoes, and play UFC matchmaker for UFC 200’s winning fighters
