NASHVILLE – John Makdessi isn’t interested in pretending his latest win was some work of art, but he does believe he kept his career moving in the right direction. “Of course it’s not my best performance in my career, but the most important thing is to get the ‘W,’” Makdessi (17-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) told reporters, including MMA Junkie, following his win over Jesus Pinedo (16-5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 6 event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
