When Phillips (22-9 MMA, 1-3 UFC) stepped into the octagon at UFC on ESPN+ 18 in Copenhagen, he did so as a man fighting for his UFC career. After suffering three successive losses since joining the promotion, the 34-year-old knew he was fighting in the last chance saloon when he took on Alen Amedovski. “It’s been a worry from the first loss, then the second loss and the third loss,” Phillips told MMA Junkie.
