The projected timeline in the ongoing Jorge Masvidal court proceedings continues to extend. On Wednesday, Masvidal had a hearing in Miami-Dade County court as he faces two felony charges of battery and criminal mischief following an alleged attack of UFC rival Colby Covington last year. Masvidal did not attend court in person or online but was represented by an attorney. The hearing lasted less than a minute as a district attorney representative informed Judge Zachary James that state prosecutors need more time to organize and analyze medical evaluations of Covington. The defense also indicated it had motions pending on those evaluations
