After welterweight champion Kamaru Usman finished Colby Covington earlier this month at UFC 245, he was asked about his next potential title defense being against Jorge Masvidal . On two occasions – during the ESPN+ post-fight show and post-event news conference – Usman big-timed Masvidal by responding with a simple question: “Who?” As if he doesn’t know who Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal is. Here’s the thing about trying to pull off this move: You shouldn’t have a bunch of receipts out there showing just how impressed you are with Masvidal and how much respect you have for the guy you’re trying to diss. Like when Usman gave Masvidal props on “The Joe Rogan Experience” for the way he handled the Leon Edwards confrontation backstage. “Masvidal don’t give a f***,” he said
