It took Masvidal (29-9 MMA, 6-2 UFC) two attempts to make weight for the bout, a surprise considering that a move up in weight would usually be accompanied by an easier weight cut.  The veteran fighter chalked up the issue to the temptations of In-n-Out Burger . Masvidal says he knew he would impress once he was able to hit the mark on the scales. “That was my whole plan,” Masvidal told MMAjunkie Radio
