Jorge Masvidal Hours after announcing that he had “big news” on the way, Jorge Masvidal took to Twitter to announce that he has a fight signed and to motivate fans into speculating over the opponent. Masvidal (29-9 MMA, 6-2 UFC) rebounded from a highly controversial split-decision loss to Al Iaquinta at UFC Fight Night 63 with a first-round knockout of Cezar Ferreira at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale on July 12. The Ferreira fight also marked Masvidal’s return to the welterweight division.
