Although UFC featherweight champ  Jose Aldo shoved upcoming opponent  Chad Mendes and called him a “piece of s–t” in a recent video, he said the hatchet will be buried after they fight at Saturday’s UFC 179. “Yeah, I don’t see a problem,” Aldo told MMAjunkie Radio. “Once the fight’s over, it’s back to normal. Leading up to the fight, there’s a rivalry, and everyone wants to get in there and fight, but once it’s over, I really don’t see a problem.” Mendes (16-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) has taken shots at Aldo (24-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in the media during the buildup to their rematch at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, which comes two years after Aldo knocked him out at UFC 142 to notch his third title defense.
