The opponent he got, Josh Burkman , said his gripe is “justified.” Oddsmakers have Lombard (34-4-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC), who’s ranked No. 8 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA welterweight rankings , a nearly 8-1 favorite heading into Saturday’s UFC 182 main-card bout against Burkman (27-10 MMA, 5-5 UFC). On paper, it’s one of the biggest mismatches on the pay-per-view card, which takes place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
