UFC Fight Night 214 lost a bout on the morning of the event. Heavyweight Josh Parisian was set to face Chase Sherman on the main card of the event taking place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, but after a lengthy early-morning trip to the emergency room, the fight is now off. Parisian (15-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC), one half of the lone heavyweight bout on the card, explained the situation on Facebook , describing the morning as “one of the worst days of my life.” According to Parisian, he spent over five and a half hours at the hospital Saturday morning due to chest pain, nausea, and palpitations. One of the worst days of my life. I unfortunately will not be fighting, tonight. I woke up at 1:07am this morning with my heart beating out of my chest and soaked in sweat.
