Justin Gaethje ’s preparation for his UFC lightweight title unification bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov is underway, and the interim champ already has a war wound to show for it. Gaethje (22-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) shared a photo on social media of a nasty gush opened up under his chin courtesy of a head butt in the wrestling room. It doesn’t appear to be anything that could jeopardize the bout with Nurmagomedov (28-0 MMA, 12-0 UFC) which is targeted for September.
